I will come to you to know the discussion which will be very useful to me as well. After read the discussion i have known By altering the circuit and using an LM317 voltage regulator and appropriate biasing, this same general circuit may be used for an adjustable power supply capable of outputs of 1.2 to 6 volts from the 7.4 volt LiPo. Thanks a lot of mate for giving me a such kind of handy discussion as well.

Your software has been stellar throughout. My only issue with it was that in the first edition, it wouldn't do the firmware update on the drone and I had to use an iPod. Other than that, it's been one of the best apps until I started to run into all kinds of issues, perhaps with android. I seem to have the latest and greatest updates for firmware, but neither of my drones are functional anymore. I can use the 2.0 with the iPod, but it's very sketchy and not at all like it was in August 2011 when I was flying the AR.Drone original with AR.Pro. I tend to believe that firmware updates --updates in general-- are the culprit. I have yet to experience an update that (a) I didn't see any need for in my own sphere, and (b) screwed the app, program, device, whatever it might be. Update Thunderbird mail and it shuts off my security suite; that kind of stuff. I have come to feel that updates are worse than southern republicans, they corrupt everything. So you may be right, but still, I can't connect to either drone with android, regardless the device. Galaxy S3 phone: no. Asus Nexus 7 tablet: no. Toshiba Thrive tablet: no. old iPod Touch: yes. I got a whole wonderful summer from your software and the original Parrot, but I have not had any luck with either the new or old drones and android because I can't connect to the aircraft. Wifi just says Connecting...then obtaining IP address... then Connecting ad nauseum.

Then, surprise surprise, I warped a propeller on the original drone and swapped in a new one. Be still my heart, your software connected to it and seemed in control using my Nexus 7 tablet. But the propeller I swapped out now appears to push air up instead of down and won't get off the ground. The motor spins at the same rate as the others, no gear problems. I have a tach and temp gauges I can aim and I get the same RPMs and temp off it's opposite number. So I've about had it with Parrot drones. I bought DJI Phantom for twice the price and got five times the aircraft for the investment. I guess the gods of Parrot and android dislike me, and now the feeling is quite mutual in terms of drones.

Perhaps the problem wasn't in AR.Pro but the firmware updates you applied to the drone. It sounds like the only thing that was static throughout this experience was my software.

Hope this helps,

Well, I guess they figure that everyone has some kind of Apple or Android device by now. It's better than when they first brought the Parrot out and you had to have an iPhone or iPad to fly it. Now at least there's a wider audience for the $300 quad. But I hear you... I wouldn't buy one back when I had to buy an iPhone or iPod to fly it. I only bought it once I could fly it with something I already owned.

I'm certain that the people of Tennessee appreciate your comment, but I'm afraid I live on the west coast not that far from Xheli/Nitroplanes. But the state one is in doesn't have much bearing when the complaint is with the vendor company. I bought a fair amount of stuff from Xheli: V200D02, V370D01, Falcon 40, the ugh! Eagle, and a couple of vanilla 450 clones. From Nitroplanes I picked up a number of fixed wing aircraft. But that business stopped because I couldn't get reply one from their support email. I'[m glad that you obviously had a different experience than I. But I don't have any warm and fuzzy experiences to relate because my requests for support were just plain ignored.

The Eagle was sold as a plane suitable for beginners. It was supposed to be RTF, test flown at the factory. So if the gyro was on backwards or the belt too loose, one would think that would be something a fair and honest vendor would want to know about and make good on. You can go ahead and flip out insults all you like, but it is interesting that I have gotten emails from a number of people who say they had terrible support experiences with Xheli as well. Your response is so negative it makes me think you work there or something.
